The Zone Specialist (ZS) assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The ZS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on their assigned store zone.

Primary responsibilities include merchandising in the assigned zone, assisting with training new Zone Specialists, being knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements, maintaining the assigned zone in a neat and organized fashion, assisting with pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, communicating customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary, maintaining the cleanliness of the overall store, and completing any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a minimum of six months' retail experience, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, effective communication, sound judgment, confidentiality, accuracy, attention to detail, organization, knowledge of industry terms and processes, outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact well with customers and Associates.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend and twist frequently, grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently, squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally, and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
