For more information, please see our website. About The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Field Supervisor to join our team based in Goldfield, Nevada . Reporting to the Exploration Manager, the Field Supervisor will be a field-based, rotational position responsible for providing site coordination and integrated project support to the exploration, technical, and project teams. This position will work closely with managers and will be responsible for coordination of all site requirements including, but not limited to, safety, project execution, subcontractor management, quality, scheduling, cost control, administration, and communication. This position is responsible for fostering a proactive Health, Safety and Security (HSS) culture at the site consistent with Centerra Safety Systems. This role will oversee, monitor and provide site leadership and guidance on all HSS related matters within the workplace. Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To Field-Based Technical Support Act as the main point of contact on site for the Goldfield Project Exploration, and assist in coordinating site visits, field work, and environmental studies. Complete reviews of scopes for upcoming field campaigns – ensure accuracy, accessibility, and that Centerra safety requirements are being considered. Oversee development and execution of site exploration projects, including defining project requirements/scope/objectives, identifying resources required, and liaising with the exploration management team, consultants, and subcontractors. Work with Discipline Leads (Exploration, Project, Technical, Finance, Contracts, Safety, Environment, Community Relations) to coordinate project needs and manage tasks. Support the Exploration Manager in project execution planning. Perform site inspections and monitor projects to ensure compliance with contracts, quality of work expectations and applicable legislation, policy and procedures. Coordinate field work between Development and Exploration groups to minimize interruptions to site operations. Communicate with managers, supervisors, and other employees to review direction, resolve problems, recommend priorities and corrective measures to improve operations and conditions of entire project. Positively maintain site relationship with the local community and ensure that any local concerns are raised to the proper stakeholders. Safety and Compliance Support Guide and develop the site’s HSS culture, strategies and policies, promoting and implementing site HSS programs that foster a leading-edge safety culture. Provide interpretation and guidance to the Site to ensure accurate information on HSS regulations and proposed regulations affecting the industry and the business. Assist all site functions in their efforts to remain free of injury, significant/security incidents, as well as any HSS regulatory violations through the initiation of facility and regulatory monitoring and oversight. If deficiencies exist, keep the site leadership/management team informed and work with responsible site and project personnel to correct deficiencies as required. About You 5 years or more of relevant project experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Knowledge and experience with Nevada OHS regulations and working environments is a requirement; Sound understanding of Nevada mining regulation and statutory responsibilities Career track of progressive, results-oriented, demonstrated and documented leadership accomplishments in increasingly complex project roles Organizational skills and management capacity to lead existing team members, follow standard operating procedures, implement safety measures, contribute to hiring appropriate roles Possess leadership acumen and skill sets to manage across different disciplines including cross-functional cooperation with safety, supply chain, human resources, community-based issues, environmental concerns, and more including with Projects and Technical Services team members Able to passionately support and represent Centerra’s commitment to long-term sustainability Proven effective interpersonal skills to interact with and lead people at all levels of the organization Demonstrated preference for spending majority of work time in hands-on field experience as opposed to office administration, direct interaction with employees, track record of and role model for strong work ethic Ability to establish and maintain an effective system of communications throughout the site and with corporate to ensure that an appropriate level of information on the site’s activities are communicated Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Bilingual Spanish is an asset) About The Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Life Insurance, STD, LTD Company-sponsored 401k with Company match Healthcare Spending Account Annual Incentive Bonus Employee Share Purchase Plan with Company match Professional development within the organization Join a company committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion #J-18808-Ljbffr
