Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years in acute care facility License: RN Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Candidates must have the required certifications prior to start. Experience in an acute care facility is preferred. Ability to float within a designated radius may be required. Description: This is a position in a 295-bed acute care facility. The facility provides healthcare services for an 11-county service area. It includes advanced specialties such as cardiac care and neurosurgery. The staff consists of more than 1,200 healthcare professionals and support personnel. There are more than 170 physicians representing various medical specialties. The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients. The unit has a patient ratio of 4:1 during the day and 5:1 at night. Electronic health records are maintained using a designated software. The supervisor for this position will provide guidance and oversight. This role requires effective collaboration with the healthcare team. A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends, is essential.
