Residential Cleaning Associate - AFC Workforce Center Full Time, Manual Labor, Honolulu, HI, US Salary: $17.50 to $18.30 per hour. Join our Workforce Center team! This assignment-based role provides flexible staffing support across multiple communities. Full training is provided. What You’ll Do The Residential Cleaning Associate provides high-quality cleaning and light household support services to maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment in client homes and facilities. The role includes the following responsibilities: Drive and maintain a company vehicle for client visits. Perform housekeeping services as directed by client care plans: Clean, disinfect, and properly dispose of bodily fluids according to bloodborne pathogen regulations. Wash, dry, fold laundry. Make beds and change linens. Clean assigned areas, including lobbies, lounges, restrooms, lanais, corridors, elevators, and client homes. Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum floors, clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture. Dust furniture and fixtures. Wash windows and treatments; clean sills, tracks, and door panels. Empty and sanitize waste baskets; transport trash to the disposal area. Communicate supply needs and assist with stocking cleaning items. Report maintenance needs or concerns to the supervisor. Comply with AFC policies and safety procedures, including annual health screenings and federal safety guidelines. Exercise caution and good safety judgment in uncertain conditions; report hazards. Respect and observe residents', clients', and participants' rights and privacy. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Schedule Full Time (40 hours per week) Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pay Range $17.50 – $18.30 per hour. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Certification and Licensure: Valid driver’s license to drive in Hawaii and a clean driving abstract; valid CPR and First Aid certification required. Physical Demands: Ability to walk, use hands, reach, climb, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull; lift up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
