Job Location Wallingford, Connecticut United States 06492 Brief Description Our client is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist who will support the Program Management/Business Development team by coordinating daily workflows , tracking cross-functional milestones, and maintaining program documentation . Job Function Responsible for processing, distributing, and logging all new/change orders and RFPs in accordance with established procedures Maintain and update internal procedures as required for continuous improvement as well as establishing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) Manage coordination of end customer/government and commercial orders/contracts. Knowledge of terms & conditions of the Commercial department upon receipt to ensure all information is accurate and acceptable Support business development efforts to generate new orders Actively engage our customers and Sales team (Manufacturers Representatives & Distributors) to identify new opportunities and future programs Support Business Development financial planning, budget & forecast based on customers’ existing /future programs projections Generate and distribute sales reports as required Job Requirement 3+ years in promoting specialized Electrical Assemblies Knowledge of Government contracts Ability to liaise with both internal and external customers and key stakeholders Working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to work to deadlines and operate under minimal direction Strong MS Office skills The Salary range is $95,000-$120,000.
