Certified Surgical Technologist

Certified Surgical Technologist (Bloomfield, CT) Responsibilities: Scrub and assist during surgical procedures across multiple specialties Prepare and set up sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for scheduled cases Work closely with a lead CST and assigned surgeon/provider throughout the day Assist with room turnover between cases, including cleaning and resetting OR Support general housekeeping duties as needed (trash removal, cleaning equipment, maintaining OR readiness) Pick cases and prepare supplies for upcoming procedure Assist with inventory management, stocking, and supply organization Follow sterile technique and infection control standards at all time Collaborate with nursing staff and providers to maintain efficient surgical flow Qualification CST certification BLS At least 1+ years of experience Schedule/Shift Four 10 hour shifts a week: 6am/6:30am - 4pm/4:30pm between M-F (one day off a week) Benefits : Paid Sick L eave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinan ces) Health Benefits / Dental / Visi on (Medix Offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
