Aviation Lending Product Manager

Piper Companies is seeking an Aviation Lending Product Manager to support a premier financial institution launching a new Aviation Lending product offering for its nationwide member base. The Aviation Lending Product Manager will lead the establishment, operational rollout, and long-term execution of the aviation lending program while partnering with internal consumer banking teams and external servicing/origination partners. This is a highly visible initiative backed by executive leadership and offers the opportunity to help shape a new lending vertical within a growing consumer banking organization. This position will be hybrid in McLean, VA, with flexibility for highly qualified remote candidates willing to travel periodically to McLean, VA. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end rollout and operational establishment of a new Aviation Lending product offering Partner with internal lending, servicing, compliance, risk, operations, and technology teams to operationalize the lending platform Coordinate with third-party origination and servicing partners to ensure successful product implementation and delivery Develop and manage product roadmaps, operational workflows, servicing models, and process documentation Oversee project timelines, deliverables, testing, issue resolution, and operational readiness activities Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align product strategy and execution Evaluate and improve lending workflows, member experience, and operational efficiencies Support vendor management, product governance, and risk mitigation efforts Ensure lending processes align with financial services regulations, compliance standards, and operational controls Assist with reporting, KPI tracking, portfolio performance analysis, and ongoing product optimization Serve as a techno-functional liaison between business teams, technology teams, and external partners Contribute to future enhancements and expansion opportunities across the lending portfolio Qualifications 5+ years of experience in consumer lending product management, project management, or lending operations Experience supporting lending products such as aviation lending, boat lending, RV lending, small business lending, or specialty lending products Strong understanding of lending operations, servicing workflows, and financial services environments Experience managing cross-functional product or operational initiatives from concept through execution Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in highly visible, fast-paced environments with executive-level exposure Experience coordinating with third-party vendors, servicing organizations, or external partners Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical delivery-focused mindset Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred Preferred Qualifications Direct experience supporting aviation lending products or aviation finance programs Experience within consumer banking, credit unions, or financial institutions Familiarity with lending technology platforms, servicing systems, or digital lending ecosystems Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments Product Owner, PMP, or related project/product certifications Compensation Salary Range: $170,000 - $220,000 depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, 401(k), and potential long-term conversion opportunities This job opens for applications on 5/18/2026.
