Sr Accountant

Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Nature & Scope Positional Overview We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing manufacturing organization supporting multiple operating entities. This role was created as part of a team evolution, driven by a combination of internal movement and an upcoming leadership retirement. The Senior Accountant will support the Finance leadership team by handling core accounting functions, financial reporting, and analysis across several business units. This role offers strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and audit support within a dynamic environment that is actively undergoing operational and process improvements following recent acquisitions. This is a strong opportunity for someone who is looking to step into a more senior-level role while remaining hands‑on in day‑to‑day accounting operations. Role & Responsibility Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success Support monthly close activities, including general ledger and subledger reconciliation Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules Analyze monthly and quarterly financial resultsAssist in preparation of financial statements and internal reporting Support budgeting and forecasting processes Analyze budget vs. actual variances and provide insights Assist with year‑end audit requests and documentation Maintain accurate financial records across multiple operating companies Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing process improvements Skills & Experience Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive Required Experience 3+ years of accounting experience Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field Strong understanding of general accounting principles and GAAP Experience with month‑end close and financial reporting Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Preferred Experience Manufacturing industry experience Experience with budgeting and forecasting Exposure to tax (state sales tax reporting/compliance a plus) Experience supporting audits Familiarity with ERP systems (Syteline a plus) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Casual, team‑oriented manufacturing environment Highly collaborative finance team supporting multiple entities Organization is undergoing active change due to recent acquisition and integration efforts Team values flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication Team Structure Reports to: Controller Works closely with: Staff Accountant AP Team (Manager + 2 Coordinators) Director of Finance No bonus structure currently Target timeline: Hire within the next 1–2 months #J-18808-Ljbffr Imagine Staffing Technology, An Imagine Company
