Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Field Service Specialist
Location: Ocala, FL
Picture your day: You hop into a company van equipped with navigation, review your route, and head to a local grocery or retail site in Ocala. On arrival, you greet store personnel, align on priorities, and dive into maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems—everything from single systems and display cases to EMS-managed walk-in coolers. When a control issue pops up, you navigate CPC, Novar, or Danfoss microprocessor controls to get systems back to optimal performance. You wrap up clear notes, communicate next steps, and prepare for the next call—sometimes on a rotating on-call schedule.
What You’ll Do- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial refrigeration & HVAC systems.
- Work on single systems, display cases, reach-in and walk-in coolers, and ice machines.
- Interface with EMS platforms and microprocessor controls, including CPC, Novar, and Danfoss.
- Partner with store personnel and communicate findings, timelines, and recommendations.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule as needed.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Commercial REFRIGERATION / HVAC/R experience.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, and microprocessor control systems (CPC, Novar, Danfoss).
- Experience with single systems, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset, plus clear communication with store teams.
- EPA Universal Certified.
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
