Environmental Health Technician

Field Sampling TechnicianThe Magzamen and Schaeffer Laboratory is hiring to assist with field sampling campaigns as part of a research project funded by the CDC/NIOSH. These projects are focused on bioaerosol exposures and respiratory health among study participants. The successful candidate will play a role on the research team and will be expected to collaborate with other researchers.Essential Duties:The successful candidate(s) will aid in calibrating and deploying air sampling equipment in the morning and evening at various locations in Larimer County (e.g., Wellington). These technicians will also document field observations and take detailed notes related to the different sampling campaigns.Conditions of Employment:In person, 10 hours per weekSupervision:Dr. Joshua SchaefferMinimum Qualifications:Interested applicants should have completed biology and chemistry courses, and be able to drive.Preferred Qualifications:Excellent organization and communication skillsApplication Instructions:Letter of interest3 letters of reference$18.00/ hour
