Director of Warehouse Operations

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO) Classification: Full-Time, Exempt Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday Position Overview The Director of Production & Warehouse Operations is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse and production operations across Suite A/B (Rental Operations) and Suite I (Custom Fabrication, Paint & Production). This role ensures inventory, fabrication, paint, and warehouse teams operate as one cohesive department, delivering exceptional quality, organization, and readiness for every Party Bound event. Working closely with the COO, Project Managers, Sales team, Logistics, and the Director of Event Execution, this position owns the planning, coordination, and execution of all warehouse and production activities leading up to event installation. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, warehouse operations, fabrication, paint, production scheduling, quality control, loading operations, and facility organization. The Director of Production & Warehouse Operations is responsible for creating a culture of accountability, organization, craftsmanship, efficiency, and continuous improvement while ensuring every rental item and custom build is completed on time and to Party Bound's luxury standards. Schedule & Work Environment The regular work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday. As an exempt leadership position, flexibility is expected based on production schedules, project deadlines, and business needs. Occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required during peak production periods or to support major company initiatives. Primary Responsibilities Warehouse & Production Leadership Oversee all daily operations across Suite A/B (Rental Operations) and Suite I (Custom Fabrication & Paint). Lead and develop warehouse, inventory, fabrication, paint, and production personnel. Coordinate labor and resources between departments. Conduct daily production meetings and establish department priorities. Ensure strong communication between warehouse, fabrication, paint, logistics, project management, and field operations. Coach supervisors and team leads while fostering accountability and teamwork. Production Planning & Scheduling Own the daily and weekly build schedule for the fabrication department. Own the daily and weekly paint schedule. Prioritize production based on event deadlines and company priorities. Coordinate workflow between fabrication, paint, warehouse, upholstery, and vinyl. Allocate labor and shop resources. Monitor production progress and proactively communicate delays. Conduct regular production planning meetings. Ensure completed projects transition smoothly into inventory and staging. Rental Warehouse Operations Oversee inventory organization, pulling, quality control, staging, loading, and recovery. Ensure rental inventory is cleaned, repaired, inspected, and event-ready. Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy. Supervise loading operations. Continuously improve warehouse workflows. Inventory & Quality Control Maintain accurate inventory. Monitor damaged inventory and repairs. Ensure all inventory meets Party Bound quality standards before shipment. Implement quality control checkpoints throughout warehouse and production. Protect premium inventory through proper storage and handling. Facility Operations Maintain clean, organized, and safe operations across both facilities. Oversee warehouse equipment, tools, forklifts, carts, and facility maintenance. Continuously improve warehouse layout and workflow. Ensure safety procedures are followed. Operational Excellence Collaborate with the COO, Sales, Project Managers, Logistics, and Director of Event Execution. Develop and improve SOPs. Identify opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement. Ensure every event is fully prepared before transitioning responsibility to the Director of Event Execution. Success Looks Like Suite A/B and Suite I operate as one coordinated department. Production schedules are met consistently. Inventory is organized, accurate, and event-ready. Warehouse and production teams communicate effectively. Fabrication and paint projects are completed on time and to Party Bound standards. Trucks leave fully loaded, quality checked, and on schedule.
