Because abnormal EEG patterns can be subtle, the combination of our extensive expertise and leading technology means we can provide an accurate and precise diagnosis that guides your treatment plan.Schedule Requirements:Day, evening, or night shiftsCover on-call and holiday rotation.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Under a physician's direction and in accordance with the laboratory guidelines, the PRN Technologist:Performs adult/neonatal routine and continuous EEG studies.Can monitor and/or review EEG data of continuous EEG and ambulatory EEG.Communicates urgent findings immediately with Epilepsy physicians.Accurately completes EEG reports and EEG billing.What We Require for this Role:Education/Related Work Experience:High school diploma/GED required.Associate’s degree preferred.Completion of an accredited EEG school program OR 3+ years of prior EEG work experience required.LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTBasic Life Support (BLS) required.Must achieve registry in EEG within 2 years of hire.Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG T.) preferred.When applying to this position, upload your current BLS or CPR certification and if applicable your current R.EEG.TWe believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
