RN OR LPN UNIT MANAGER

RN Unit Manager

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a RN Unit Manager to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

Applicant must have unrestricted Registered Nurse license.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN Unit Manager will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

The Unit Manager will:

• RN Unit Manager will oversee clinical operations of the unit and is responsible for staff
• RN Unit Manager will provide supervision of nurses and CNAs, as well as interfacing with physicians
• Unit Manager will provide QI reporting and follow-up, and providing clinical expertise to staff as needed
• RN Unit Manager will provide care for our most clinically acute patients and residents. Requirements:
• Current license by the North Carolina Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum three to five years of experience as an RN, preferably in long term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.
• Nursing Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
