Key Responsibilities

• On-call coverage only — beeper call with a required 30-minute response time
• Manage 15 to 25 patients per shift; handle 10 to 15 patients during a 24-hour call period
• Work in an ICU environment — admissions are necessary
• Conduct 3 to 5 phone consultations during each 24-hour call period

Qualifications

• BLS certification is mandatory
• Board certification in your specialty is required
