Overview Location: Toledo Hospital Department: System Resource Pool Weekly Hours: 36 Status: Full time Shift: Nights (United States of America) Sign On Bonus: Job Requisition Qualifies for Sign on Bonus Bonus Amount: $15,000 Job Summary: ProMedica has introduced a tiered-model structure for nurses, including full-time, part-time, and per diem options, offering more flexibility in work schedules. This Resource Pool model promotes staff development, improves patient care, and helps address staffing gaps within hospitals. The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica’s world-class patient care team. By providing patient-centered care through sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience, ProMedica nurses are dedicated to improving health outcomes for our patients and for the communities we serve. As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan. In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction. Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver patient-centered nursing care, assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Collaborate with patients, families and health care team; communicate openly and respectfully; participate in shared decision-making. Provide care across multiple specialties within the Resource Pool model at participating hospitals. Requirements Current State license as a Registered Nurse Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units. Ohio RN continuing education: twenty-four contact hours during licensure period; at least 1 hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules. Tier 4 Resource Pool RN must be available to work in multiple specialties at all participating hospitals (Toledo Hospital, Flower Hospital, Bay Park Hospital, Fremont Memorial Hospital, Fostoria Community Hospital and Monroe Regional Hospital).
