With a social atmosphere and elevated hospitality, we create memorable experiences for locals and visitors alike. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Server / Group Coordinator to join our team and grow with us as we continue to build the premier rooftop experience in South Orange County.

 

Job Summary:
This role centers on coordinating group events and private dining experiences, while also supporting day-to-day guest service for regular dining guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, has exceptional communication skills, and enjoys being hands-on—seamlessly balancing event coordination with delivering elevated, attentive service on the floor.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver exceptional table service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and cared for

· Service group reservations and coordinate with the events, culinary, and beverage teams for seamless service

· Assist guests with menu selections, pairing recommendations, seating arrangements, the event agenda, special requests, taking photos/videos of events, and any other event related needs

· Conduct site visits when needed

· Answer group emails promptly and professionally

· Create REOs and ensure information is recorded in an organized fashion

· Communicate event details and logistics with management and staff

· Ensure group billings are executed accurately

· Maintain accurate records of group bookings and guest preferences

· Serve individual guests and provide attentive, high-quality service during regular dining operations, even when not coordinating group events.

· Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Rosewood Social’s standards of hospitality

· Maintain a professional and welcoming presence on the floor, assisting with guest needs and table service outside of group or private events.

 

Qualifications:

· 1+ years of serving or hospitality experience required; event coordination experience a plus

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

· Professional, approachable, and solutions-oriented demeanor

· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

 

Compensation:

· $17.50 per hour

· % of service charge collected from total group food & beverage net spend (exclusive of tax) paid out in the pay period in which the events falls. You must service the group on the day-of the event to receive the percentage.

· Eligible for this bonus compensation after 90-day probationary period is successfully completed: % of admin fee collected from total group food & beverage net spend (exclusive of tax) paid out in the pay period in which the events falls. You must service the group on the day-of the event to receive the percentage.
