We are looking for hard working – customer service-oriented individuals that are self-motivated, honest, well organized, and with excellent communication skills to help continue our growth throughout the Southeast.If you are looking for a rewarding long-term career opportunity, be part of a growing team and sell products that are proven and accepted widely in our industry then we may be the right fit for you.Job Title: DriverRoles and responsibilities:Have a general knowledge of trucks and trailers, to be able to perform daily pre-trip and post trip inspections on assigned equipment.Ensure the accuracy of our products being loaded for delivery.Understand and demonstrate safe loading and unloading practices.Ensure that all loads are properly secured and can be transported safely.Follow routes to deliveries while operating a CMV and avoiding truck restricted roads and low clearances.Interact with customers in a professional manner and exhibit characteristics of our Core Values while making deliveries.Report road incidents to the dispatcher.Follow accident procedures.Refuel and clean vehicle daily.Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.Competencies:Attention to detailsAbility to problem solveAbility to drive and maneuver various configurations of trucks and trailersAbility to gain a good understanding of materials and accuracy of loadsMake various deliveries to jobsites and dealer yardsOperate efficiently to deliver multiple local loads dailyBe at delivery site at 7:30 a.m.Make decisions based on driver's abilities and capabilities of equipmentPerform maintenance checks and report items that need repairMaintains an MVR report that is in good standing #J-18808-Ljbffr
