Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Soliant is seeking a Pharmacy Shipping Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity located in Scottsdale, AZ on behalf of a mail order pharmacy . This opportunity is open to pharmacy technicians with a trainee license.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13+ weeks (contract-to-hire)
• Shifts: Mon-Fri; 8:30AM-4:30PM
• No license is required. But if not a “Tech In Training”, must have shipping/warehouse experience

• Physical Requirements:

-          Ability to sand and/or walk for extended periods

-          Ability to perform repetitive packaging, labeling, and scanning tasks

-          Ability to lift and move packages and shipping supplies up to 5-10 pounds

-          Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the day.

·         Responsibilities:

-          Order Preparation & Packaging:

1.      Prepare completed prescription orders for shipment to patients

2.      Verify that the correct shipping label and documentation are matched to each order

3.      Package medication securely and according to pharmacy procedures and shipping requirements

-          Shipping Processing & Carrier Coordination

1.  Sort completed packages by carrier, shipping method, or pickup requirements.

2.  Monitor shipping queues and prioritize orders based on carrier cutoff times and service levels

3.  Assist with carrier pickups and ensure packages are ready before scheduled pickup deadlines.

-          Quality, Privacy, & Error Prevention

1.  Identify and escalate damaged packages, shipping discrepancies, incorrect labels, and other potential errors before shipping

2.  Assist with refrigerated or temperature-sensitive shipments when applicable, including proper use of insulated packaging and cold packs

3.  Follow pharmacy policies regarding patient privacy and the handling of protected health information

4.  Follow all applicable pharmacy, workplace safety, and company policies
