Unicargo Logistics is the domestic brokerage arm underneath the umbrella of Unicargo companies stretching worldwide. Expand your book of business and grow your team to offer everything from FTL/LTL/Drayage/Intermodal to Ocean/Air/Warehousing/Customs.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in individual sales, a passion for developing people, and a track record of building successful teams from the ground up.

Base salary + uncapped monthly commissions + quarterly bonuses. Full Health Benefits + 401K options.

Responsibilities:

• Grow and maintain your own book of business to "show your team how it's done" and lead by example.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and develop a team of high-performing sales professionals. 
• Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve company growth objectives. 
• Establish performance goals, KPIs, and accountability measures for the sales team.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to maximize performance and professional development. 
• Collaborate with all internal departments to maximize customer revenue, margin, and service.
• Work closely with leadership to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence. 
• Foster a positive, competitive, and collaborative team culture. 
• Job responsibilities will be split roughly a 50/50 between individual selling and team management

Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience selling freight brokerage services
• College degree
• Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with a great attitude
• Experience with Sales CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, etc, including creating customized reports for analysis
• Familiarity with all domestic transportation modes - Truckload, LTL, Drayage, and Intermodal
• High level task and time management capabilities
• Expert knowledge of the domestic supply chain allowing you to identify a prospect’s full transportation needs and craft an optimal solution
• Proficiency in analyzing industry pricing tools and market trends to accurately quote both spot and contractual shipping lanes
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. 
• Proficiency with lead generation tools such as ZoomInfo, D&B Hoovers, LinkedIn, Apollo, etc to identify valid prospects and decision makers
• Must be located in Charlotte, NC area
