TravelNurseSource is working with Medical Recruitment Strategies to find a qualified Nursery RN in Castro Valley, California, 94546!

NURSERY RN NEEDED- Looking for nurses who have worked in a Level II or III NICU, have experience attending deliveries and neonatal resuscitation, and have done Mother/baby couplet care. 7a-7p with some 11a-11p depending on unit needs. On Call: Occasionally Float: Yes, to MB/PP Weekend Coverage: Every other, 13 weeks = 7 weekend shifts Required Certs: CA RN BLS NRP Preferred NICU with Post Partum experience. Patient Care - Provides care based on the age related needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with consideration of their development/psychosocial needs, environmental safety, education needs, communication style, and level of understanding. Will access only the minimum amount of information necessary to care for the patient. (Patient Care Options) Additional Role Expectations: Provide safe, patient-centered care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and/or newborns according to the assigned unit's needs. Monitor patient status, recognize changes promptly, and communicate concerns to the care team. Candidates should be prepared to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, maintain professional communication, and follow all applicable patient-safety, infection-prevention, and documentation standards.
