Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a maternity leave position running from January through April. Make a vital difference Monday through Friday, working full-time across four engaging school settings: middle school (grades 6–8), high school (grades 9–12), an alternative school serving all grade levels, and a youth residential facility with students spanning various ages. You’ll have the chance to impact the communication skills and academic success of approximately 50 students.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or ability to obtain
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but recent CFY graduates also encouraged to apply
• School-based or pediatric experience, with proficiency in assessing and treating a range of speech and language disorders
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Experience across diverse school environments is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and implement therapy interventions tailored to each student’s needs
• Develop, update, and track progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring compliance with educational regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Offer consultation and training to staff and families to promote carryover of goals
• Flexibly manage a caseload across multiple buildings and coordinate therapy schedules in collaboration with site staff
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports as required
