Job Summary:
The healthcare facility located in Minnesota is seeking a qualified CT Technologist. This position involves performing a variety of imaging procedures with a focus on CT scans and general radiography. The role requires adaptability to variable shifts and involves both day and call responsibilities, contributing to acute care services within the facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts with variable start times at 7:00, 7:30, and 8:00 AM; scheduled by the manager. The position does not include 12-hour shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and registration as a Certified Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R); minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist. Experience with CT and X-ray procedures is essential. The candidate must be willing to learn and perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), ask questions, and be open to first-time travel assignments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CT imaging including strokes, traumas, CTA, AAA dissection; familiarity with Cannon Aquillon Prime SP CT equipment and Carestream X-ray systems.
• Responsibilities: Perform general X-ray procedures such as extremities, spines, and chest; conduct CT imaging including stroke, trauma, CTA, and AAA dissection; assist with patient positioning and imaging support; participate in weekend call rotations, approximately once per month, with a 15-minute response time; respond to call-ins approximately 18-20% of the time.
• Additional Information: Weekend call shifts start at 1730 on Friday and end at 0700 on Monday; weeknight call is approximately once per week with a response time of 20 minutes or less; on-call meals, room, and board are provided.
