Digital Press Operator

Job Title: Digital Printing Press Operator Job Summary The Digital Printing Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a digital printing presses to produce high-quality printed labels in accordance with work orders and customer requirements. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, computer literacy, and a commitment to quality and safety. Must be reliable and able to perform in a fast-paced high volume production environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate digital printing press according to work orders and specifications Safely load and unload rolls of label material. Monitor press operation during production to maintain print quality and minimize waste Inspect printed rolls continuously for defects, color consistency, print quality, and alignment Measure and verify all customer print specifications throughout the production process. Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report mechanical problems to maintenance Accurately complete production paperwork, job tickets, and quality records Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout as required Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience operating printing, converting, or similar industrial machinery preferred Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools and measuring devices Ability to read work orders, job specifications, and safety instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift materials (often up to 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periods Preferred Skills & Experience Experience in label converting, printing, or packaging environments Familiarity with pressure-sensitive labels, films, foils, or paper substrates Forklift or pallet jack experience (certification a plus) Basic computer or touchscreen machine interface skills Schedule Shift: Mon-Fri 6:00 AM–2:00 PM Overtime opportunities may be available based on production needs Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Opportunities for overtime and advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing or production floor environment Exposure to moving machinery and industrial noise Requires standing, bending, lifting, and manual dexterity throughout the shift Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $20 - $24 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
