About the Position Position Title: Clinician Educator for Executive Health Location: University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Reports to: Chief, Division of General Internal Medicine Application Deadline: Open to Fill Position Summary The UCSF Division of General Internal Medicine (DGIM) is seeking a passionate, dedicated physician to join the Executive Health practice team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-established ambulatory program focused on comprehensive, personalized adult primary care, with an emphasis on prevention, early detection, and health optimization. The role includes delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care within a high‑touch model, including in‑depth executive health evaluations and longitudinal care for a defined patient panel. It also involves participation in shared on‑call coverage and collaboration with International and Concierge Services to support coordinated care for executive and international patients. This position is based within DGIM and may include opportunities for teaching, scholarship, and clinical practice improvement within the Clinician Teacher or Clinician Educator track. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based primary care within the Executive Health program, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and comprehensive annual health evaluations. Collaborate with International and Concierge Services and serve as a liaison to ensure seamless, high‑touch care for executive and international patients. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows; participate in precepting and educational activities as appropriate. Lead or participate in initiatives to enhance patient experience, care delivery, and clinical outcomes. Participate in shared on‑call coverage for the Executive Health program. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine. Valid California medical license and DEA registration by the start date. Proven expertise in providing ambulatory internal medicine care, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence. Preferred Qualifications Interest or experience in quality improvement, practice innovation, or clinical operations. Interest in teaching or academic scholarship.
