The salary range for this position is $32.50 - $45.50 (Hourly Rate)

Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Description

The schedule for this position is a flexible full time onsite position Monday - Friday and no holidays required, occasional Saturdays may be required. 

The EMS Continuing Education Specialist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

This role is responsible for the development, coordination and teaching of the Southern Fox Valley EMS Systems Continuing Education Program at Delnor Hospital.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5 years of EMS emergency care experience.
• One year of medical care teaching experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a current IL RN License with ED experience or an EMT-P license, do not need both.
• CERT ACLS
• CERT BLS via American Heart Association
• CERT PALS.

Preferred:

• More than 5 years of EMS emergency care experience.
• More than 1 year of medical care teaching experience.
• Previous experience in EMS course coordination
• Associate's or bachelor's degree
• ACLS Instructor
• CERT PALS Instructor 
• IDPH Lead Instructor
