We are looking for an educator who believes every student has creative potential and is committed to fostering artistic expression, critical thinking, and confidence in the classroom. Fine Arts Experience Drawing Painting Charcoal and other sketching techniques Ceramics Mixed media Additional visual art forms Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging, standards‑aligned Fine Arts instruction. Encourage creativity, self‑expression, and artistic exploration. Teach foundational and advanced techniques across multiple art mediums. Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and inspired. Showcase student artwork through classroom displays, exhibitions, and school events. Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and school culture. Required Qualifications Valid Arizona teaching certificate (or ability to obtain one) with appropriate certification. Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (or a higher degree from an accredited institution). Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for working with high school students and supporting their academic and personal growth. IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Working knowledge of instructional technology and data‑driven teaching practices. Preferred Qualifications Relevant teaching experience or serving diverse populations.
