More about our team Our Acute Care Unit is a 31‑bed inpatient unit specializing in adult acute care & oncology overflow. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. This dynamic environment is a great place to start for RN's looking to develop critical care skills and offers nurses the opportunity to strengthen their clinical expertise while delivering compassionate, high‑quality care. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current Alabama or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferredBasic Life Support requiredACLS, required within 6 months of hireExperience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
