Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Production Worker where you will play a vital role in crafting handmade cheese. The schedule is a 4-day workweek with one weekend day, working from 1 PM to 11 PM. or 3AM - 1PM Specific days will be determined upon offer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of handmade cheese.
• Consistently lift wheels of cheese weighing between 40-60 pounds throughout the day.
• Handle materials efficiently, as each wheel is valued at $500.
• Engage in general labor and production tasks.
• Label products and follow specific cheese-making recipes.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds consistently.
• Adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and serious cheese manufacturing practices.
• Flexibility regarding working conditions and hours.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, material handling, and general labor is beneficial.
• Familiarity with food manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Work Environment

Located in the bustling Pikes Place downtown, you will be part of an energetic and happy company. The work environment requires adherence to GMP and FDA regulations. Flexibility in working hours is necessary, as shifts are from 3 AM to 1 PM and schedules are flexible but will consist of four 10-hour days including a weekend. The role is physically demanding, and the company encourages a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.

The pay range for this position is $23.55 - $23.55/hr.
