Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Independently performs all phases of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures following department protocol while using their technical knowledge, skills, and good judgment to provide safe and effective care in an educational facility. Accurately documents all radioactive materials and medical record information in compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations. Rotational on-call required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Satisfactory completion of an Associate of Science Degree in Nuclear Medicine from an AMA approved program which meets the requirements for certification by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT). Qualified applicant must also have certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB, and Licensure from the Florida DOH. Preferred CT Certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB and Licensure by Florida DOH.
