CT Technologist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This position is primarily focused on providing high-quality imaging services for patients aged 0-18 years. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be a self-starter, and have a passion for working with children and their families.

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures on pediatric patients, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standards.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families to help ease anxiety and explain procedures.
Maintain high standards for image quality and ensure optimal operation of imaging equipment.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing compassionate care.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, pediatric experience preferred.
Current ARRT certification in CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Valid state license to practice in Washington.
Ability to produce high-quality images while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor with pediatric patients.

Work Environment

The position is located in a newly built, state-of-the-art trauma facility in Tacoma, WA. The facility includes a 152 total bed capacity, with 70 NICU beds.

Schedule

The specific shift and weekend rotation may vary based on departmental needs. On-call duties may be required, limited to off-hours and weekends, not exceeding 24 hours per month.
