American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a Noninvasive Cardiology unit, requiring RDCS/RCS registration and 2+ years of echocardiography experience.
Noninvasive Cardiology unit performing echocardiogram studies
4x10 hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Uses Epic for charting
RDCS or RCS required
BLS and ACLS required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; some facilities require AHA only)
License required if applicable
Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography
Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
Minimum of 2 years current experience as a registered echocardiography technologist
Demonstrated ability to work independently and function unsupervised with strong technical judgment
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
Perform quality and complete echocardiogram studies with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
Two professional references required for consideration
