Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: ASAP \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Job Summary: Position: Med-Surg (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) \n Location: 111 Hospital Drive, Utica, New York, 13502 Experience Required: \n Minimum 2 years recent Med-Surg RN experience \n Documented travel nurse experience required \n Certifications/Licensure: \n Active New York RN license (and all active RN licenses) \n Current AHA BLS certification \n NURSYS report and license verification required \n Valid driver’s license (address must match application demographics) \n Schedule: \n 6:30pm – 7:00am shifts Electronic Medical Record: \n Experience with EPIC required \n Unit Details: \n Scrub color: Navy blue \n Adult patient population \n Common diagnoses: Post-surgical care, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, morbid obesity (including bariatric surgery) \n Use of specialty equipment: IV pumps, NG tubes, feeding tubes \n Additional Requirements: \n Skills checklist matching specialty \n Requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission \n Med Ninjas Job ID 14927.
