Responsibilities Perform MRI examinations Ensure patient safety and comfort Administration of contrast media Maintain MRI equipment and safety standards Collaboration with multidisciplinary health care team Document and manage patient information Research implantable devices for MRI compatibility Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards Assist with workflow and operational efficiency Requirements Minimum Education: Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI educational program Minimum Work Experience: One year of MRI experience preferred. Required Licenses: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred) OR ARRT in one of these Radiography (R)/Nuclear Medicine (N)/Radiation Therapy (T)/Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date Current BLS Required Required Skills: Proficient in operating an MRI scanner and adjusting imaging parameters Well-versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements Patient positioning & comfort while ensuring patient safety Emergency response Attention to detail Critical thinking and problem-solving Time management Empathy and patient care The ability to work independently and work well with team members Capable of performing timely, quality MRI exams Overview Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
