Maintenance Assistant

Cardinal CG is currently seeking a Part-time Maintenance Assistant at our Northfield MN Location. In this position, you will be asked to perform a variety of maintenance tasks Including Welding, Grinding, Machining and Fabrication. As well as Cleaning, Fitting, sanding and painting of equipment and assemblies.
Shift Available Flexible, 1st shift preferred Pay $25.00 - $29.00 Responsibilities · Support projects and equipment implementation. · Bring project Prototypes and assemblies to finished state. · Weld and fabricate equipment as required. · Maintain all work areas in clean organized fashion. · Clean up after every shift and project. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements · Ability to work independently and prioritize workload. · Organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail. · Read, write and understand standard and metric measurement units. · Proficiency with basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts related to manufacturing equipment. · Proficiency in fabrication, welding and basic machining skills. · Ability to operate and use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments. · Basic knowledge of computer software, including Windows/Word/Excel.
