Position Title: Lecturer, Finance (2 Openings) Req ID: R0006014 Time Type: Full time Location: Waltham, MA Description Job Description Summary The Finance department at Bentley University welcomes applications for two lecturer positions to begin in Fall 2026. Ideal candidates will possess both teaching and industry experience. The department seeks candidates with expertise and experience (academia and/or industry) in areas such as investments, ESG investing, corporate finance, FinTech, fixed income valuation, financial planning & wealth management, financial modeling, and real estate. Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ, Morningstar Direct, and FactSet is highly desirable as the integration of these resources into finance courses is a priority for the department. The expected course load is 8 courses per academic year. Salary is competitive. The Trading Room (with 57 seating capacity) offers 24 Bloomberg terminals and subscriptions to FactSet, Capital IQ, Morningstar Direct, and Financial Trading Systems (FTS). The Finance department provides strong support for faculty research through summer research grants and Bentley's subscription to a range of financial data including Factset, IBES, ISS databases, Thompson Reuters, CRSP Mutual Fund, Trace, SDC, to name a few, in addition to standard databases such as CRSP and Compustat. The Finance faculty regularly publishes papers in well‑regarded journals. Minimum Qualifications Candidates should have a master's degree in finance or a related field.
