Aging in Community Developing innovative models like OASIS that help older adults remain engaged and supported within their communities. , Clarendon\'s citizen wish to restore an unused* chapel for a multipurpose space. The building will be used for community gatherings, cultural events, as well as local needs such as clothes and food pantry. We are looking for a community organizer that would lead a working committee to discuss coordination efforts and serve as a liaison. This will help the community in the following manner Clarendon is a rural town with only a small library. A public or civic space would create a warm, welcoming, supportive environment for people to gather, exchange ideas, enhance goodwill in disasters or hardships, provide learning, resources as well as cultural opportunities.
