We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Kansas City manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional looking for a stable first-shift position with a global organization that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Compensation

Starting pay: $37+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities
• Maintain pumps, hydraulic systems, compressed air systems, and steam equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot motors, controls, and VFDs
• Support facility and production equipment reliability initiatives
• Complete maintenance-related projects and equipment installations
• Document maintenance activities and work performed
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Basic industrial electrical troubleshooting experience (120-480 VAC)
• Experience working with motors, drives, pumps, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics, and perform basic mathematical calculations
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification, vocational training, or trade school education
• VFD troubleshooting experience
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Pipefitting experience including threaded and flanged systems
• Mechanical seal and industrial pump experience
• Forklift repair experience
• Steam boiler maintenance experience
