Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations. Stays up to date and familiar with all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Maintains education requirements for the position and demonstrates competency through annual clinical competencies and written tests. Ensures efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing, and documenting results in the practice’s designated system. Shift: Monday - Friday, must be available 7a-7p. Must be flexible with travel up to 50 miles from their home location. Mileage and toll reimbursement for any mileage over 20 miles from their home. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology Knowledge of chronic disease management Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems Ability to function and assist others in stressful, fast-paced environments and effectively apply stress management techniques Education: High School Grad or Equivalent [Required] Field of Study: Not Applicable Work Experience: 1+ year of related work experience [Preferred] Additional Information: N/A Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) [Required] OR Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) [Required] OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) [Required] OR National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) [Required] OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) [Required] OR Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) [Required] Physical Requirements: Physical Requirements - Pay Range: $16.14 - $27.38 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
