Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – Alaska

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 day shifts (40 hours per week) with on-call requirements for weekends. Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week pay period. Flexible block scheduling available.

• Epic electronic medical record system for streamlined documentation
• First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience

• Float opportunities within scope to support facility needs across sister locations

Requirements:

• Current Alaska RN license (or active Compact license with willingness to obtain Alaska licensure; pending licenses considered with strong preference for license in hand)
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
• Skills required: CVOR experience including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, TAVR procedures, cell saver operation, blood product administration, and specimen handling
• Willingness to accept on-call responsibilities and float within scope as needed
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (non-local candidates only)
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All time-off requests must be submitted at time of application
