Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Incident Response in Bunn, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon05:45 AM - 06:00 PMTue05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSat05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with facility staff and emergency responders as needed. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities. Minimum Requirements An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
