Warehouse Associate

A growing distribution and logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities. This individual will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, moved, and shipped while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse and distribution operations. Success in this role will be measured by productivity, accuracy, safety compliance, and overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities Include:

• Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments and deliveries
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory throughout the facility
• Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in designated storage areas
• Pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Transport products, materials, and inventory to assigned warehouse locations
• Identify and report damaged goods, inventory shortages, and quality concerns
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities
• Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment documentation, and activity logs
• Inspect warehouse equipment and report maintenance or repair needs
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operating guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to achieve daily operational goals
• Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as needed
• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations
• Proven forklift operating experience required
• Valid forklift certification preferred
• Experience with inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and material handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operating guidelines
• Basic computer and inventory system experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday
