Financial Analyst 2

The Dept of Family Medicine & Community Health has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst 2 (H) position. The incumbent compiles and analyzes financial information for Auxiliary Services in an efficient and accurate manner. Moreover, the incumbent assists management in the decision‑making process and strategic planning by presenting relevant financial reports in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Responsibilities Prepare and coordinate documentation of financial analysis projects such as budgets, forecasts, projections, expense performance, and presentations. Identify trends and develop findings. Provide analytical support for forward‑looking financial or business‑related projects. Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of accounts. Design and build various models that summarize several different scenarios around growth and expansion initiatives or opportunities. Develop and maintain performance and productivity dashboards, models, or analyses. Collect, interpret, and analyze relevant data or metrics. Develop and maintain reports to support plans, business decisions, operational changes, strategic plans and new services. Resolve any reporting issues. Liaison with vendors that provide services for the University to ensure adherence to terms and conditions of the agreements. Make recommendations to align policies and procedures with best practices and capitalize on financial opportunities. Support the Director and Sr. Financial Analyst with accounting and reporting functions. Adhere to University and unit‑level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
