Together, we are committed to innovating and simplifying the cryogenics industry while upholding our dedication to excellence.We are currently seeking a TIG Welder to join our Production Team.As a TIG Welder you will participate in exciting projects at the forefront of cryogenic innovation! You will be accountable for all dimensions you create on any product ensuring that all welds meet appropriate specifications, are cosmetically acceptable, and meet good craftsmanship standards.To thrive in this role, you'll need strong math skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to lift 50lbs. and follow written procedures and safety practices. Excellent attendance habits, a great work ethic, and the desire to work as a team are a must. Coming to work each day eager to learn, you'll grow the skills necessary to advance within the Production Team.Qualifications:Experience with thin gauge stainless steel and aluminumThe ability to lift up to 50 lbs.The ability to lift, bend, twist, and stoopDemonstrated ability to accurately manufacture from blueprints (welds must meet dimensional specifications and be cosmetically acceptable)The ability to follow welding requirements on certified welding jobs and follow proceduresResponsibilities Include:Wrapping insulation on localized area of productSharpening of own tungstenFollowing Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) on all certified welding jobsFollowing welding requirements as specified in the Manufacturing ManualContacting supervision or Weld Coordinator when rework is required so the applicable rework documents can be completedFollowing all applicable safety rules and regulationsRecommending and helping to implement method improvements and cost reductions.All other duties as directed by supervisorThis is a production position located in Brazil, Indiana.Crane Co. is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products.
