Marketing Director

Location: Greater New Orleans area, on site Role Overview On behalf of a leading, industrial product distributor, PCG is looking for the right fit to own the brand and drive end-to-end marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the president, you’ll oversee product positioning, demand generation, trade shows, and channel/distributor marketing while leading a talented team of four. You will have the space to shape high-level strategy, elevate the brand, and jump in to execute alongside your team on critical initiatives and partner closely with leadership to build a high-performing pipeline and accelerate revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Strategic Marketing & Positioning Own Product & Market Strategy: Direct product positioning, pricing communications, promotional planning, and channel/distributor marketing Champion the Brand: Drive consistent storytelling across the website, social media, packaging, and customer touchpoints Demand Generation & Sales Enablement Drive Revenue Pipelines: Build and execute an annual marketing strategy blending digital channels (SEO, paid search, email, social) with traditional B2B growth levers. Empower the Sales Team: Collaborate on product launches, sell sheets, case studies, proposal content, and targeted go-to-market strategies. Lead Event Strategy: Plan and execute trade shows, industry events, and customer-facing programs that drive engagement and lead conversion. MarTech, Analytics & Operations Optimize the Tech Stack: Set strategy including HubSpot, Syndigo, and AI-enabled workflows Prove ROI with Data: Leverage business intelligence and analytics to track program performance, demonstrate return on investment, and continuously optimize campaigns Manage Resources & Budgets: Oversee the marketing budget and direct external vendor relationships Core Qualifications Experience: 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a direct team management role Strategic Core: Proven mastery of strategic marketing fundamentals (positioning, pricing, promotion, and channel strategy) Hands-on MarTech Expertise: Demonstrated experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, Google Analytics, and digital ad platforms Execution & Leadership: Proven track record as a \"player-coach\", equally comfortable building high-level strategies and rolling up your sleeves to execute deliverables Communication & Presentation: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive leadership, board members, customers, and industry partners Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex, parallel initiatives in a fast-paced environment Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field Background marketing commercial products within the construction, industrial, or safety materials sectors Hands-on proficiency with HubSpot (certifications preferred) and Syndigo .
