About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience required. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. Must-Have: Acute care experience must be current and consistent within the last 12 months. No first-time travelers. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Shifts are typically scheduled from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, varying slightly as needed. No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts are required. The role involves caring for a majority of oncology patients. Patient acuity may vary from outpatient to ICU-level care. Specialty surgeries include flap reconstruction, thoracic, and neurosurgery. The RN will work with an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Two professional references are required. One reference must be from a formal leadership capacity. Co-worker references are not accepted. Candidates must have completed education from an accredited program. All applicants must be aware of the urgency of the compliance process for credentialing.
