We are looking for an experienced and dependable Construction Crew Leader / Foreman to run one of our construction crews. We specialize in metal buildings, barndominiums, and custom homes, and we are looking for someone who can lead from the front, keep projects moving, and make sure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The right candidate must have hands-on construction experience, preferably with metal buildings, framing, roofing, siding, or custom home construction. This position requires someone who is comfortable leading a crew, organizing daily jobsite tasks, communicating with management, and making sure the crew stays productive and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a construction crew on daily jobsite tasks
• Oversee construction of metal buildings, barndominiums, and custom homes
• Read and follow plans, layouts, and project instructions
• Assign tasks to crew members and make sure work is completed correctly
• Perform hands-on construction work including framing, roofing, siding, metal building erection, and general carpentry
• Operate and oversee the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Communicate with the owner, project manager, or superintendent regarding job progress, materials, and any issues on site
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Make sure crew members follow safety procedures and company standards
• Help train and guide crew members as needed
• Ensure quality workmanship and keep projects moving on schedule

Requirements

• Previous construction experience is required
• Previous experience leading a crew is required
• Metal building experience, framing experience, or similar construction experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to manage people, delegate tasks, and keep a crew productive
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and construction best practices
• Ability to read plans, take measurements, and problem-solve in the field
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and leadership skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation
• Must have your own basic tools
• Background check required
