Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Nights - 12 Hour Shifts: 7 PM to 7 AM, 36 hours per week.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, ensuring personalized attention to each patient.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ICU setting.
- Monitor vital signs and manage medical procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient assessments and treatment planning.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system.
- Float to other departments as needed, ensuring adaptable patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active and clear NY RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
- 2 years of U.S. nursing experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
