We seek a full‑time, non‑tenure‑eligible Health System Clinician in the Division of Dermatology at the Assistant Clinician (Clinical Promotion Pathway at Lurie Children’s) and Clinical Assistant Professor (Feinberg School of Medicine) level. The position will be employed by the Lurie Children’s Medical Group (LCMG) and part of the Operating Unit of the Pediatric Faculty Foundation (PFF). Responsibilities Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns and children to assess physical and mental development. Examine sick children to determine condition and gather information about symptoms. Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history. Prescribe medications and give detailed instructions for administration. Diagnose, treat and screen mental health illness in pediatric population. Prescribe and interpret appropriate lab tests to evaluate possible infections or abnormalities. Consult with pediatric partners and nurses on best practices. Examine and treat injuries; refer to specialists (surgeons, ophthalmologists, orthopedists, etc.) when necessary. Advise parents on children’s diet, exercise and disease prevention measures, emphasizing early detection and prevention. Maintain updated records of patients’ illnesses, surgeries or other medical episodes. Advocate for patients, families, and staff members. Keep abreast of advancements in pediatrics and best practices by attending seminars and conferences. Qualifications Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine with specialization in pediatrics (MD/DO). Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology. Licensed in the State of Illinois to practice without restriction. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Passion for pediatric care. Pay Range The position offers a base salary range of $100,000 to $1,000,000, reviewed regularly to stay aligned with market conditions.
