Overview Seeking a resourceful, driven, adaptable, and customer‑focused team member to work varying or set schedules on a weekly basis year‑round as a part‑time Supervisor. The Supervisor will provide assistance to the management team, offer oversight for team members within a specific department, satellite location, or store in the absence of upper management, and ensure outstanding customer service to the academic and co‑curricular community. Responsibilities Support the management team and serve as a resource for all departments. Model outstanding customer service and drive sales on the sales floor. Train and oversee daily work activity of team members in one or more departments or operational functions. Maintain a working knowledge of all departments to provide daily support, direction and guidance to customers and team members. Help resolve customer issues and complaints, escalating when necessary. Act as Manager‑on‑Duty in the absence of the manager or at satellite locations. Assign work and provide focused direction to team members to manage multiple projects and ensure proper execution of the workload. Process sales transactions involving cash, credit or financial aid payments. Maintain routine housekeeping, such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming and trash removal. Work part‑time schedules year‑round; schedules may vary to meet store needs. Physical Demands Frequent movement within the store to access various departments and products. Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Frequent lifting and occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Massachusetts Pay Transparency Information Part‑time Supervisor pay range: $17.00 per hour. Benefits Daily Pay earned wage access available to all store employees. Employee discount. Qualifications 2+ years’ experience in a retail setting preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred. Outstanding customer service skills to match customers to products that meet their needs. Basic reading, writing and accounting skills required. Excellent customer service and communication skills needed. Strong interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
