This role supports the DYAD program—a model that connects classroom learning with community-based expertise through experiential learning. Students participate in elective-style courses that may include technology, fitness, arts, and other enrichment experiences. Position Summary As a DYAD consultant, you will design and deliver program-based instruction that emphasizes confidence, teamwork, discipline, and coordination. You will create a safe, organized, and productive environment, ensuring meaningful hands‑on experiences for each student. Your expertise will link classroom concepts to real‑world contexts, boosting student engagement and learning. Key Responsibilities Provide engaging, structured, experience‑based instruction in physical education. Develop and present your own curriculum aligned to the elective you teach. Independently plan, lead, and manage a class reflecting both your expertise and DYAD expectations. Create a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment. Actively teach, monitor, and engage students throughout the class period. Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school expectations. Ensure students participate in meaningful, hands‑on learning experiences. Communicate professionally with campus staff and leadership. Be prepared, consistent, and dependable in daily instruction. Use your expertise to connect classroom learning to real‑world experiences. Contribute positively to the culture of the school and the integrity of the DYAD program. Create opportunities for parents and families to observe and celebrate student accomplishments through showcases, demonstrations, or presentations. Qualifications Skill, knowledge, and first‑hand experience in physical education, fitness, sports, or movement‑based instruction. Ability to work effectively with students in a school setting. Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills. Ability to provide structured, engaging, experience‑based learning.
